Over the past few years, you've seen us evolve. Our bags have become more technical, more travel-focused, and packed with thoughtful features that make life on the go easier. We've fallen in love with anti-theft technology, RFID protection, recycled performance fabrics, and smart organization because, like you, we love to travel.
But somewhere along the way, we realized something. Those features don’t tell our whole story.

Travel Has Always Meant More to Us
For more than 25 years, we've believed that travel restores the spirit, that time outside lifts our mood and quiets our minds, and that spending time in nature reminds us of who we are. Those ideas have always been woven into every Sherpani bag, long before we ever talked about locking zippers or airport-friendly backpacks.
Because we're so much more than a travel brand.
We're a brand built on curiosity. On fresh air. On colorful adventures. On saying yes to the weekend hike, the spontaneous road trip, the coffee shop detour, and the flight you've been dreaming about taking.
Built and founded in Boulder, Colorado, we're nature lovers at heart. That spirit goes all the way back to the beginning.
When Sherpani founders Ed and Maria met while running a dive shop in Key West, Florida, their shared love for the outdoors and the ocean shaped everything they built together. They wanted to create bags that helped women get outside, look good doing it, and make small but meaningful choices to care for the planet they loved.
That's why sustainability has never been a marketing trend for us.
Sustainability, From the Start
Every Sherpani bag is made using 100% recycled materials, and to this day, has helped divert over 11 million plastic water bottles from the waste stream. This isn’t just a feature printed on the hangtag—it’s a reflection of who we've always been as people.
But crafting sustainable bags has never meant compromising on quality.
Our recycled dope-dyed polyester is engineered to reduce water and energy use during production while delivering the durability our customers have come to expect. Premium YKK® zippers, water-resistant finishes, and thoughtfully selected materials are designed to perform year after year. In fact, many Sherpani customers tell us they're still carrying the same bag more than a decade later.
That's the kind of quality we're proud to stand behind.
