Reviews

almost perfect

"I loved almost everything about this bag, from the size - perfect for short folks and short trips - to the safety features and durability. The stow-away straps are great, and a hard feature to find. Everything seems easy to use and thoughtfully designed. . . except the lining. The light color of the lining is helpful for finding things. But the lining is loose, not fully connected to the bag, which means it shifts around and you can get a handful of it when you're trying to remove something from the bag. It also isn't totally smooth, so things don't easily glide in and out. This makes it clumsy to use. If this had a standard backpack-style attached nylon lining it would be perfect."

Better handles.

"This is the best purse! I love all the features. The biggest turnoff is that the tote handles fall apart. Thin vinyl. Every other part is more durable."

Jarford (4/5)

"Nice bag, lots of pockets. Purchased for work travel and meetings. I think it will work well for my needs."

Exceeds Expectations

"I'm not a "purse girl". I want functional organization! Sherpani delivers! This is my 2nd Sherpani. . . . because the 1st one lasted over 10 years!! Thank you for your awesome products! (Any chance of a mens wallet line?)"

Soleil

"I really like the features in this bag, the versatility in wearing it and the outside pockets are perfect. Love the water bottle pockets which was another reason I bought this bag. I bought it knowing it was pretty large, I'm short and as a backpack it works fine, but it's really big on me when carrying as a cross-body. But I will be traveling and need the space Also there aren't any loops for the excess backpack straps, I was able to tuck the end through the D ring on the bottom so they don't dangle but otherwise they'd be hanging loose. The fabric is nice and everything is well constructed and sturdy."

Versatile carrying style is a joy!

"Not only is this bag, well-made, and stylish, it has deep pockets and multiple carrying options for different situations. You can really load it up and easily carry it as a backpack."

Best Safe Traveling Companions Ever

"I used the Soleil and Simplicity Cross-body wallet for a trip to Italy. The anti-theft features are what drew me to the purchase. Italy is known for pic-pockets and I wanted to be prepared. That and I was traveling with small children and wanted to be hands free so I could keep a close eye on the kids. I love both products. I used the backpack and was able to fit two days worth of cloths, water bottle, meds and essentials as a carry on in the event our luggage was misplaced. The cross-body wallet held my phone, eyeglasses money, credit cards and passport with ease knowing that none of the items could be scanned. They are the best traveling bags ever. I felt confident and secure. I highly recommend them."

Not for tall people

"Ok for short time periods. My husband (5’11) and I (5’8”) think the backpack straps are too short. They dug into the spot in front of our shoulders after a couple hours of walking around Chicago and it hurt. Probably fine for shorter people though. Also, for any height, the single strap pad is not cushy enough when you have the bag full. Love all the pockets and the fact that it’s made of recycled materials though."

Love it

"I bought this bag for an upcoming trip. I absolutely love it. I have been using it as my purse. Going to & from work. The 2 pockets on tbe outside are perfect for my water bottle & sun screen. Multiple pockets on the inside. The water bottle holder on the inside fit my umbrella. The front pockets are a perfect place for my keys work badge."

Ricci J. (5/5)

Oh boy! A great design!

"I had eyed this bag for some time, but made the leap for a trip. So glad I did. It made the perfect airplane "personal item. " The side pockets are smart additions, for a beverage, fan (for us gals who run warm out of the blue!) and any rolled up magazine or puzzle book with pens and pencils even glasses case slipping into the middle of the papers. It's comfortable as a backpack as well as fitting securely over the rolling case telescoping handle. In short, this is a grande bag! Brava, Sherpani! (Such thoughtful design, I decided it was female!)"

Q&A

Hi. What’s the difference between the signature and the lite Soleil? Is it fair to say different seasons or fabric?
Hi Keisha, You're exactly right! The Signature is from our FW25 collection with updated fabric and metal hardware. The Lite version is from an older collection and features different fabric with plastic hardware. Hope this helps clarify the difference!
Help! I see a Soleil AT bag, and a Soleil Multiwear bag in a signature and in a pro. All are available in straw but the prices are a little different. The description makes it sound like they’re all the same. What’s the difference in these 3 products?
Hello Dawn, The Soleil Pro version is from the SS25 season. The Soleil Signature version is from FW25 and features an updated fabric compared to SS25. The Soleil AT listing is a newer release from SS26 and uses the same updated fabric as FW25, along with an updated logo. Pricing varies due to these seasonal updates and design differences. Hope this clarifies!
